Oceania vs Regent: same family, different bill
Oceania and Regent share a parent company, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, but not a fare. Oceania now includes more than it used to. Regent still includes more.
The short verdict
Pick Oceania for food and value if you're happy with one extra (wine and beer at meals, or a shore excursion credit) rather than both. Pick Regent if you want the all-in price with unlimited drinks and unlimited included excursions. The common mistake is booking Oceania Vista or Allura expecting Regent-style inclusions.

Who should pick Oceania
Food lovers who want excellent restaurants on a mid-size ship and are happy to choose one extra: wine and beer with meals, or credit towards tours. Everything beyond that is paid as you go.
Who should pick Regent
Anyone who would otherwise want both drinks and several excursions on an Oceania fare. Price the two side by side for the same itinerary and suite level before you decide. Our Regent guide covers the ships.
The catch
- Oceania: the included amenity is one or the other, not both, and it must be chosen by final payment. Cocktails, spirits and most tours beyond the credit are extra.
- Regent: the fare is higher, and much of the value is lost if you rarely go ashore.
What changed
Oceania's old simply MORE package ended for new bookings on 30 September 2024. Its replacement, Your World Included, added gratuities for all guests, and for bookings made on or after 17 September 2025 it adds the choice of wine and beer or a shore excursion credit. Reviews written before then may describe a different fare.
Questions we get asked
Is Oceania Cruises all-inclusive?
No, but it includes a lot. Oceania's Your World Included covers specialty dining, gratuities, Wi-Fi, soft drinks and specialty coffees and laundry. For bookings made on or after 17 September 2025, guests also choose either wine and beer by the glass at lunch and dinner hours or a shore excursion credit. Cocktails, spirits and most tours are extra.
Does Oceania still offer simply MORE?
No. Oceania ended simply MORE for new bookings on 30 September 2024 and replaced it with Your World Included.
Are Oceania and Regent the same company?
They are sister brands under Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, with different products and different fares.
Is Oceania a cheaper Regent?
That is how many people shop it, and it is the expectation that disappoints most. Compare the total cost, including drinks and the tours you would actually take, not the headline fare.
