The decision
Both can be excellent choices. Our starting point is whether you want a familiar, polished service style or a property whose individual character is a bigger part of the holiday. Four Seasons and Rosewood both span cities and resorts, so this distinction is a starting judgement, not a rule.
Compare the room, not just the nightly rate
Put the actual room sizes, outlook, balcony, bedding and cancellation terms next to each other. A higher category at one property may suit you better than the entry room at another. Check breakfast, transfers and any resort charges separately.
Match the location to the holiday
For a city stay, map the places you want to visit. For a resort, compare beach access, swimming conditions, restaurants and distances. A brand preference should not outweigh a setting that works better for you.
Our recommendation
Choose two actual properties for your destination and dates. Tell us what you liked about previous hotels and we can compare the rooms and rates that are genuinely available.
